Protest Exhibition at Camberwell College of Art

Please come to see an exhibition of work by Camberwell MA Print students (Camberwell College of Art, Wilson Road, SW5), there is a real mix of work and lots of interesting pieces to see. Here is my work and a selection of some of my favourites...

Reduction lino print by me, and photo by Rachel Johnston

Lino prints by Andrew Carter

Etching and screeenprint Julia Rodriguez Gallego

Lovely blind emboss by Catherine Eland (this picture does not do the print justice!)

George Shaw

I have recently discovered George Shaw, and his paintings of the coventry council estate he grew up in. I love the views of graffitied garages and tower blocks. He has a show at the South London Gallery at the moment, and its well worth a look, its also free!

I can't wait to go and have a fry up here! I pass it almost every week on my way to college, and it always makes my mouth water!

Nail Bar A Board

My friend Barbara asked me to repaint her A board to go outside her shop. I went by one evening this week and started work, she wanted something bold and east to read, I hope I achieved that! I had to do it in two shifts as it get late and I wasn't able to put all of the shadows in. I will post a picture of the finished board in situ as soon as I can!
