My lovely boyfriend bought me a great book for Christmas called 'Type. A Visual History of Typefaces & Graphic Styles, 1628-1900' Not only is the book fascinating, right at the back hidden away was a key card giving me access to the full archive of research used to make the book, AND most of the images are available for high resolution download! I have been looking through them to find inspiration for a series of guidebooks i am working on, maybe I am a type geek, but I thought these images were particularly beautiful.
